Keynote Speech in Rome
On Friday, June 11, I traveled to LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome for my first in-person event in a very long time. I gave a keynote speech entitled “The Discursive Construction of Discontent: Varieties of Populist Anti-System Ideas and Discursive Networks in Europe” for the 10th Conference of the European Consortium for Political Research's Standing Group on the European Union. My talk was based on a paper that will become an article for the Journal of European Integration.
